"Early 2020, I was living in a condo in Uptown Denver that was being sold. I had four months before my lease was up and I needed to find a new place. The landlord was showing the unit all the time, which added a different kind of stress that helped to motivate me to find something new. I was looking for a townhouse in a quiet neighborhood with an outdoor space, but not one that'd require a lot of upkeep since I travel a lot.

I wasn't sure what I'd find within my price range, so I wasn't convinced buying was better than renting. Once I started working with Amanda, I better understood the process and what housing options were available. She asked thoughtful questions to understand more about my lifestyle and the features that were important to me. It helped me see that buying a home was the better option. I bought my townhome when it was under construction. Amanda and I had a few site visits while they were working on it, so I could see the progress and start to visualize the space.

I have a few favorite areas in my townhome. I spend a lot of time on the first main level which is so modern and well designed; I feel like I'm in a magazine at times. The roof deck is sort of like another living room but open air. It has views of the city ánd the mountains and it's a great space to entertain friends or lounge in my hammock.

And my bedroom is another space that brings me joy. It has a large window which brings in ample natural light. Early into living in my place, I hired a muralist to paint a beautiful, one-of-a-kind mural over my bed. It's my sanctuary, my safe space.

I already made some lovely memories in the year and a half I've lived in my home. For example: I have a beautiful kitchen that's made for team cooking. Two of my friends flew out from California to visit six months after moving in. They helped me get more settled in, but we had an unforgettable time cooking together and enjoying the rooftop. It was so special.

I had all the trust and confidence in Amanda from our first zoom meeting. She made the home search feel easy and less stressful... She listened, was communicative, and very responsive and quick to set up tours or inquire about potential properties. She was my Sherpa throughout the process. On top of all that, she's someone you want to know and be friends with after the process. And... the house plants Amanda gave me to celebrate moving in are still alive! ;) Thanks Amanda!"
